Grants for youth, children and kids are available from Dreams Do Come True.  This is a childrens and kids foundation for every child with a dream.

Our Dream
We at Dreams Do Come True have our own dream.  It is to enhance the lives of children, one child at a time.  That is why we grant dreams for children all around the country.  By providing children with opportunities to realize their full potential through fulfilling life experiences we are their Dream makers.  However, we cannot do this alone.  As a non-profit children's foundation we rely on grants for children to make these dreams come true for kids nationwide. 

For those qualified applicants, Dreams Do Come True grants them the opportunity to participate in sporting events, attend amusement parks and school trips, experience outdoor recreation and fine arts, and enjoy any other activity that is approved and selected by the individual dreamer.  This is an opportunity that would not be possible for the child to experience without the help of Dreams Do Come True.  That is why these are dreams we are granting.

For dreams to be selected for approval they must meet certain criteria.  The criteria for dreams to become realities is based upon whether the dream or experience, if granted for the youth, will be one that will enrich the child's life above and beyond those experiences encountered everyday.  As a unique kids foundation, Dreams Do Come True is committed to the idea that even one adolescent or childhood experience may touch a child's life forever.

By granting "Dreams" for children we increase their self-esteem, confidence, sense of self-worth while providing them with a positive and wonderful experience that they may bring with them throughout the rest of their lives.  Moreover, research has shown that the difference between success and failure in a person's life can be affected by the presence of positive intervention during childhood.  That is why we dreams must be granted for kids. 

While many kid's foundations curtail their interaction after they grant a dream for a child, Dreams Do Come True, requires that the child volunteer one hour of their time spent doing community service for every $100 that is required to award them their dream.  The volunteer activity is specific to the child's age, so that they might best understand the impact and power of their service.  It is through this reciprocal style of giving that the children of Dreams Do Come True, help others experience charity through their gifts of time and effort in the community.  This charity is made possible by our one of a kind children's foundation.  It's true that everybody wins with a dream.
